Exhibition “Roots and Wings”

Interactive Multimedia Exhibition on the “Wintergrüne” Protestant Youth Education Project

An increasing amount of people are questioning values and meaning. The interactive “Roots and Wings” exhibition in the historical Superintendent’s House in Torgau might not provide any answers, but it does incite a new approach to life’s questions.

This is where Luther wrote the Torgau Articles with Jonas, Bugenhagen and Melanchthon in 1530, and you too are invited to take part in the transcription of the Torgau Bible by copying a verse. A modern terminal in the Luther Room provides information on issues related to the Reformation.

The interactive “Mensch Martin – Hut ab!” exhibition became a permanent fixture in the rooms of the historical Superintendent’s House in early 2019, allowing young visitors to find out more about the life of Martin Luther and his brothers in arms.

The permanent exhibition held within the “Wintergrüne” Protestant Youth Education Project is complemented by various special exhibitions.
